The Anaheim Ducks brand unapologetically goes against the grain of what hockey fans are used to seeing.

Our brand aesthetic is a reflection of the rawness and irreverence of Orange County’s musical roots in the hardcore and punk scenes.

We’re putting a strong emphasis on grit, texture and orange whilst controlling our messaging and communication through strong design structures.

Our goal is to reimagine the elements of hockey by infusing a punk/hardcore aesthetic in our visual identity, inspired by our Orange Country roots.

COLOR PALETTE

Orange is the Anaheim Ducks.

It’s the color of the place we call home; a bold color we wear with pride.

While its vibrancy in our jersey is undeniable, our classic hue can look subdued on screens. A variation of our orange specifically for use in digital mediums is available to ensure an appropriate punch of saturation.

Classic black and white give sharp contrast. However, to avoid jack-o-lantern-esque executions, slight avian-inspired adjustments have been made to this stark dichotomy.

Elegant gold accents complete our look—after all, what would Orange County be without its golden, sandy beaches? Where possible, gold should be displayed as a metallic shade to match the glimmer of our jerseys (and beaches).

A rare grellow accent gives an extra kick where it's needed. When used as part of gradient mapping on photos, it lends the appearance of liquid gold.
